Mexican style rice

Ingredients

1 spoonful of vegetable oil
1/2 cup of onions, chopped in squares
1/2 cup of red pepper, chopped in squares
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 cup of La Villita whole rice
2 cups of chicken broth
1 cup of frozen corn grains
1 cup of black beans, washed and strained
2 spoonfuls of tomato sauce
1 spoonful of finely chopped cilantro
1 cup of avocado, chopped in squares

Preparation

1.- Heat the oil in an average size pan at medium temperature. Add the onion and pepper; saute 3 to 4 minutes or until the vegetables are tender. Add garlic and saute for 1 minute more. Add your Villita rice and mix with the rest of ingredients.

2.- Add the broth, corn, beans, and tomato sauce to mix with the rest. When most of the liquid has evaporated, lower the fire and cover. Cook until rice is aldente, between 15 and 20 minutes.

Rice pudding

Ingredients

2 cups of La Villita rice
1 can of condensed milk
1 can of evaporated milk
100 grams of raisins
100 grams of sweet grated coconut

Preparation

Wash your rice and put it to boil with the evaporated milk, a stalk of cinnamon, clove, and enough Water and mix until most of the liquid has evaporated. Remove the cinnamon and clove. Mix the condensed milk and raisins. incorporate the coconut when it is cooked, mix, serve and sprinkle some ground cinnamon.

Cuban style rice

Ingredients

200 grams of rice
Tomato sauce
Green bananas
Eggs
Potatoes

Preparation

1- Boil your rice with a little salt and oil. Put aside when cooked.

2- Make a soft tomato sauce (You can buy it too)

3- Fry the green bananas cut length wise in two halves, eggs and potatoes. Add this mixture slowly to the rice.

Shrimp risotto

Ingredients

2 cups of La Villita rice
1 onion (Finely chopped)
1 cup of white wine
4 cups of chicken broth
1 spoonful of olive oil 100 grams of grated cheese
200 grams of peeled shrimp
1 spoonful of salt
1 clove of garlic

Preparation

1- Saute your shrimp in a pan with oil and add the clove of garlic
2- When they are cooked, sprinkle some salt and put aside
3- In a pan with olive oil, add the onion and cook until it gets a transparent color.
4- Add your rice and stir for 2 minutes
5- Add the white wine and cook, stir until it is absorbed. Next, incorporate your hot broth (It has to have some salt because the rice has not been seasoned), little by little as your rice dries up. your rice must be soft and creamy.
6- At the end, add the grated cheese.
7- Serve, placing the shrimp on top.

Rice pudding and chocolate

Ingredients

200 grams of La Villita rice
75 grams of chocolate topping
1 stalk of cinnamon Rind from
1 lemon
Sugar
Milk


Preparation

Heat up 1 liter of milk in a pot. Add the stalk of cinnamon and lemon rind and let them infuse. When it comes to a boil, add your rice and stir well so it does not stick. We let it cook until the rice is done.

We lower to low heat. We incorporate the sugar and let it dissolve well. We add our chocolate and stir until it melts and mixes thoroughly.
